How do I enroll with Switch Energy?

Enrollment is easy and only takes a couple of minutes. You can enroll online at or you can call us toll free at 855.737.3722. All we need is your basic contact information and your utility account number which can be found on your bill.

Can I cancel my service at any time?

Yes you can but you should be aware that with a fixed rate plan you may be subject to an early termination fee if you cancel before the end of your contract term. On variable plans, there is no early termination fee.

If I choose Switch Energy, will my reliability be affected?

Choosing Switch Energy as your electricity or natural gas supplier will have absolutely no impact on the reliability of your energy supply.

How can Switch Energy rates be lower than my utility rates?

Switch Energy is an independent energy company that is lean and operationally efficient. By keeping our costs low we can pass our savings on to you.

What if I have a question about my bill…who do I call?

Our charges will be included as part of your regular utility bill and will be designated as a supply charge. Therefore, if you have a specific question about your bill, you should call your local utility.

Where do you get your Green/Renewable power?

We provide Green or Renewable power through the use of REC’s (Renewable Energy Certificate) which represent power generated from renewable sources such as wind and solar.

What if my power goes out? Who do I call?

Your local utility will continue to deliver your power through their network of poles and wires. So when you power goes out, call your local utility.

Who will send me my bill?

You will continue to receive from your local utility…just like you always have.
